Now I don't have to and have 3 White 1st Gen Apple keyboards in storage now. I am so tired of dealing with batteries, although, it's only one of the four that goes low and needs to be replaced. These boards are suppose to be able to use ambient and office light to keep them going for a good long time. To me that "kinda Nutz", but that's what works for him. I have a friend that puts his on his fence facing the sun for a few hours. I have Warm White LED tape on the lip of an Art Board that sits under my raised, on a fluted cinder block, main monitor and they are, as per the "charge indicators", enough light to keep the board charged(ing). The flip out feet to raise the back of the board seem flimsy and because I need them, they'll break.

Touch is good, but takes a bit of adjustment from using most other boards. Solar Eliminates the Nusance of Batteries.
